Laem Tong is the white-sand beach at the far northern tip of Phi Phi Don. It is the island's luxury corner, with a small number of spread-out resorts and a traditional sea-gypsy (Chao Leh) fishing village.

There is very little outside the resorts, and getting to Tonsai takes a boat, so it suits travellers who plan to stay put, swim, snorkel and unwind.
